Medical Review Policy
Locatemycenter publishes plain-language information about diagnostic tests so patients in India can prepare confidently. This page explains how that content is sourced, reviewed, and updated.
Disclaimer: Informational only; not medical advice. Always consult a licensed physician for diagnosis or treatment.
Sources we rely on
- Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) clinical guidelines.
- World Health Organization (WHO) reference materials.
- National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL).
- Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
- Peer-reviewed Indian and international medical literature.
Editorial workflow
- Initial draft is written by our editorial team using authoritative sources.
- Drafts are checked for plain-language clarity and removed of jargon.
- Price ranges are calibrated against typical Indian market data.
- Pages carry a "Last updated" date and source citations where applicable.
Reviewer status
We are actively onboarding licensed physicians to formally review test pages. Until that programme is in place, every health-related page carries the disclaimer above and is built strictly from authoritative public sources. We will publish reviewer bylines as soon as the programme is live.
