Editorial Guidelines
These guidelines govern how Locatemycenter writes, fact-checks, and maintains editorial independence across centre listings, test guides, and city pages. They apply to every contributor.
Independence
We do not accept payment for ranking, placement, or favourable mention. Centres cannot pay to appear higher in search results, and our test guides are not sponsored.
Voice
- Plain language. We say "fasting not needed" instead of "no preprandial requirement".
- Specific numbers. Prices are written as
₹300–₹800, not "affordable". - No marketing fluff. No "best ever", "world-class", or "trusted by millions".
Verification
- Every centre listing carries a source.
- Phone numbers are formatted in Indian conventions and re-checked on a rolling basis.
- Health claims cite ICMR, WHO, NABL, or peer-reviewed literature.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we update the page and add a brief note in the footer. We do not silently delete content.
AI use
We use AI tools to draft and edit, but every health-related page is reviewed by a human editor against authoritative sources before publication.
